Uniform

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community. School uniforms can be obtained from our local supplier: Market St Stitches, Market Street, Woolgoolga.

A broad brimmed bottle green hat is part of our school uniform and students are strongly encouraged to wear it. In the interest of preventing skin cancer a ‘no hat, play in the shade’ rule applies. If hair ribbons or bands are to be worn they should be green or white in colour. Jewellery is not permitted; however, those students with pierced ears are permitted to wear studs or sleepers only.

Lost Property & Clothing Pool

All items of school clothing should be clearly and permanently marked with the student’s name. Most lost property results from honest confusion over unmarked items. Unclaimed clothing is stored at the school until the end of each term and then donated to a local charity.

The school operates a school clothing pool, and donations of items are always appreciated. Please consider donating school uniform items your child may have outgrown. These items will assist families to obtain school uniforms quickly and cheaply. The clothing pool items are sold for a minimal $1.00 per item. Money raised goes into the school funds.
